A breeze drew me.
The yellow flower stood out.
To embrace close
Intoxicate
The tapering leaves
Were a dark hue
Wrapped around
Oozed as nectar
The white sap...
The yellow flower.

Lyricism at its best.
It'll take me sometime to appreciate, as they ought to be appreciated, the most sophisticated poems. This one has a unique tenderness.
For a music lover like me, it is the lyricism which counts the most. Words. Music of words.
