The Yellow
A breeze drew me. The yellow flower stood out. To embrace close Intoxicate The tapering leaves Were a dark hue Wrapped around Oozed as nectar The white sap... The yellow flower.
Lyricism at its best. It'll take me sometime to appreciate, as they ought to be appreciated, the most sophisticated poems. This one has a unique tenderness. For a music lover like me, it is the lyricism which counts the most. Words. Music of words.
